This is, by far, the most popular question we receive. Most people think that the miniature horse is small and therefore are only a novelty to look at. This could not be further from the truth. Miniature horses are a truly multipurpose animal. In fact, the were originally bred as small work animals. They do make the perfect pet, but there is so much more. They can easily hold the weight of a small child, making them a wonderful way to teach children riding skills and horsemanship.
Miniature horses can also be used to pull carts, small wagons, buggies, and can even be hitched as teams, just like their full size counterparts. . ![]() Youngsters havin' fun with a mini ![]() One of our stud colts at a show. ![]() Karen Knutson with Rosy |
